About the role:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will collaborate with other support functions and ensure adherence to best practices and security controls. Create and maintain operations documents. You must have the ability to identify opportunities for automation through the development of reusable BOTs and coordinate with development teams on code deployment and implement automation tools and frameworks. Provide monitoring and KPI reporting and implement cost-control strategies.

  • Provide top-level technology consultancy services to our clients.
  • Support implementation programs for complex enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Work with Architects, Subject Matter Experts, and Solution Designers on client site.
Our Requirements:
  • Experience in large scale IT environments.
  • Experience working with Azure Cloud technologies (nice to have other e.g. AWS and/or GCP).
  • Acting as an engineer on a minimum of 1 Cloud-based solution (Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle, Orange, etc.).
  • Experience in provisioning automation and configuration using a minimum of 1 of the following: Puppet, Ansible, Chef, OpenStack.
  • Experience with version control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab).
  • CI/CD tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security concepts (e.g. Terraform, Biceps, etc.).
Nice to have:
  • Good understanding of Agile / Lean principles and how to apply them.
  • Knowledge of cluster storage concepts.
  • Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.
  • CKA/CKAD/CSK/DCA certificates.
