Responsibilities
  1. Collaborates inside the company with members of the same team or other teams in order to accomplish the allocated tasks;
  2. Collaborates outside the company with client representatives, within the authority limits allocated by the direct manager;
  3. Coordinating the accounting tasks for one or more specific region/s and/or a one/more functional accounting process such as: Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Month End Close activities, Reporting activities, Asset Accounting (capitalization, depreciation, and amortization), Inventory Accounting, Intercompany, FX & Treasury Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Monthly tax calculation submission, and audit support.
  4. Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the completeness and correctness of balance sheets accounts (banks, fixed assets, client accounts, supplier accounts, tax accounts, etc.), journal entries initiated by GL accountants from the team
  5. Closings and reconciliations for the managed accounts as per agreed deadlines
  6. Analyzing and following the accounting journals, requesting reclassifications and corrections to GL accountants
  7. Support GL accountants in requesting information from Client/ Genpact other streams (supporting documentation for JEs, additional information, escalations, etc)
  8. Provide support to Team Leader and Operations Manager when needed, as per request
  9. Coordinating the accounts reconciliation for the group companies according to procedures, when required
  10. Preparing the VAT declarations and the accounting journals when required
  11. Offering the vital reports and information for the internal and external controls
  12. Preparing monthly performance reports according to the established contract indicators and any other additional requested reports to be reviewed by the client
  13. Presenting in a timely manner any relevant information related to the process
  14. Respecting the activity schedule established with the customer
  15. Apply country specific knowledge of taxation (VAT and CIT) & accounting rules applicable from country-to-country if applicable
Qualifications we seek in you
  1. Relevant work of experience in a multinational company as Financial Reporting Analyst
  2. Good level of German Language, B2
  3. Taxation knowledge, & accounting applicable to in scope countries
  4. Work experience with oracle
  5. University graduate (Economic profile is an advantage)
