As an IT PLM application specialist, you will be included as part of the agile PLM development team and focus on our Windchill environment. You will mainly concentrate on translating business requirements into functional IT solutions for programming and configuring by our developers in our IT landscape. In this role, you will work closely with the other PLM application specialists in your Agile scrum team and together with business stakeholders to design and implement new applications, functionalities, and improvements/enhancements. You will become part of the PLM team responsible for the implementation, development, and support of the "digital product highway."

What you'll be doing:

As a close colleague to the software developers, you'll have the opportunity to work with advanced applications to increase productivity and quality of Marel's product development and aftermarket service. As a PLM specialist, you'll be primarily responsible for the Windchill application. Furthermore, you will:

  • Translate business information requirements/processes into IT Solutions (Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications);
  • Identify, define, and model the business requirements for the application and custom components;
  • Create functional or technical specifications;
  • Liaise with software vendors/third-party specialists/third-party support, technical specialists, application support, and business key users;
  • Manage projects and ensure stakeholders are kept in the loop.

The Product Lifecycle Management team is an internationally oriented team and globally responsible for the digital product highway, product lifecycle management solutions, and the Atlassian platform. As part of the development group within the PLM team, you'll get a chance to work with and learn from subject matter experts across borders and cultures.

  • Able to form, monitor, and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders;
  • A skilled communicator with effective written and verbal skills (English);
  • Possibly, you have a background in software engineering or business administration with good knowledge of software development. Knowledge of Python, Dassault, SQL, JAVA, SourceTree, and GIT-software is an advantage but not a must;
  • Standing strong in your vision and beliefs, with a result-driven mentality;
  • Possessing analytical and decision-making skills.
