JOB PURPOSE:

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:

1. Design the buying strategy aligned with the Business Groups strategic needs across the world.
2. Supplier Relationship Management responsibility and accountability.
3. Support the Global Procurement FDT Manager for the global negotiations or even support some local/regional tenders & negotiations on specific parts of the Flexibles portfolio.
4. You will need to constantly develop suppliers and new origins needed in line with business growth and innovation priorities.
5. Communicate and execute the supply strategies and maintain connections with key Business Units/Business Groups.
6. Follow market conditions, and lead price forecasting cycles.
7. Ensure the execution of contract negotiations in the regions, leveraging the business and digital tools for support as needed.
8. Support the business with accurate price forecasting. Prepare information on purchase prices and conditions to enable proper budgeting and cash forecasting.
9. Drive portfolio management together with the relevant material expert teams to deliver portfolio excellence in specifications management, formulation and blend flexibility and other R&D pillars.
10. Support the Cash Flow and Working Capital plans for the portfolios.

Innovation / rejuvenation projects:

1. Participate in cross functional project teams for Innovation and Rejuvenation when required.
2. Provide input for decision making at leadership team level e.g. pricing of materials, risk statements, lead times, savings potentials and financial impact.
3. Identify (new) pack materials introduced by Innovation projects together with business partners and ensure timely introduction, at a competitive price, ensuring supplier selection is in line with our Procurement Strategies and with sufficient capacity for growth.

5S / Value Improvement

1. Support on delivering the material cost savings target via Smart Buying and Smart Product and building the strategic roadmap for the value improvement workstream, in line with USLP strategy.
2. Generate ideas for to support on 5S projects (e.g. alternative supplier approvals, material changes) and take the lead on implementation.

Other

1. Accountable for the execution of ASA/ AMA (alternative supplier/alternative material) projects for either resilience or 5S reasons.
2. Support on regulatory related topics (e.g. origin of materials, regulatory changes that may impact business and category).
3. Support Procurement Operations with Supplier escalations to ensure business continuity when required.
4. Lead and support delivery of Sustainability projects (ex. better, less and no plastic agenda).

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in strategic procurement.
2. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or a related field would be beneficial.
3. Experience on delivery of Cost, Saving and Portfolio related projects.
4. Experience in stakeholder and supplier management.
5. Experience in managing business stakeholder's relationships.
6. Experience of execution of big projects with global scale.
