What you will be responsible for:

As Middle Office Trade Support Senior Analyst, you will:

  1. Verify trades against counterparty instructions and SWIFT dispatch in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure that all trades are confirmed within predetermined timeframes and that all relevant deadlines are adhered to for the processing and instructing of transactions for each product.
  3. Monitor SWIFT messaging system flow to custodians, clients, and fund accountants.
  4. Close cooperation with brokers, custodians, fund accountants, various internal stakeholders, and other third parties.
  5. Direct integration with client Middle and Front Office teams (Investment Managers) to resolve trade discrepancies or issues.
  6. Support resolution of complex queries by cooperating with internal teams and external parties worldwide.
  7. Adhere to global guidelines on trade processing – SMPG, ICTIC, Omgeo, and SWIFT Best Practices.
  8. Support process improvement.
  9. Support Team Leader with team management and work distribution.
  10. Support junior team members with challenging tasks.
What we value:
  1. Fluent English – strong verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Advanced PC skills including MS Office applications (MS Excel mostly).
  3. Academic background, preferred degree in economics, finance, science, or engineering.
  4. Multitasking skills, strong analytical and prioritization skills, experience in a deadline-driven environment.
  5. Direct experience processing Equity, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, and cash deposit transactions or similar relevant background in the Investment Services Industry.
  6. Understanding of settlement methodologies across various products (Fixed Income, Equity, FX, etc.).
  7. Understanding of settlement associated risks.
  8. Understanding of financial markets; familiarity with custodian cut-offs for various financial products and settlement methodologies.
  9. Industry utility experience preferred – Omgeo CTM, ALERT, GTSS, SWIFT.
  10. Ability to form effective working relationships with multiple parties – clients, business experts, IT, and project teams.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Financial educational background.
  2. Banking knowledge.
  3. 2-3 years experience with Finance or investment banking.
