As Marketing & Sales (M&S) NPD Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and management of NPD projects following the company policy, annual plan (A&SP), and requirements of assigned markets, considering local legal regulations to ensure the advancement of JTI products in the market. You will work closely with brand managers and assistant brand managers, primarily managing product changes, new formats, Limited Edition Packs, and New Product Development introductions. Additionally, you will be the contact person for R&D, Global Supply Chain, and Marketing & Sales, ensuring all product and packaging initiatives are executed with excellence and on time.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Execution of NPD projects related to product and/or packaging changes within the PLM system; coordination of projects in a collaborative way with different stakeholders at all sourcing locations; tracking project progress and providing status updates to the Line Manager and Market; preparation of preliminary information required for project initiation: Packaging Briefs, Market simulations/Creative designs, etc.
• Manage the end-to-end NPD process ensuring timely execution of all projects; track project timelines against the plan and ensure that key stakeholders including NPD & Commercial Strategy Manager and Marketing Lead are aware of any delays and issues.
• Take responsibility for PLM-related questions and provide support to the assigned markets; deliver system and/or process updates to involved users.
• Organize and lead project kick-off meetings under the responsibility of the Project Manager role; track information on lead times for different steps of the process: coordination of layouts development & approval process within AMS (artwork), SKU readiness, tooling availability, NTMs (non-tobacco materials) delivery, and other project-related questions; track and seek opportunities to optimize product costs and rationalize OTC amounts.
• Preparation of presentation and minutes drafts for NPD meetings; track and ensure updates to NPD-related data - Product Specifications file, Barcodes, Blends, and NTMs cost, etc.
• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/University Degree in Economics, Technology, Statistics, or Finance. A good Sales & Marketing background is a plus.
• 2 years of experience in FMCG in New Product Development (NPD), Marketing, or project management roles, with a proven track record in cross-functional projects; for associates, 0-2 years of experience is expected.
• Strong command of the English language (oral and written).
• Good communication skills - managing parties in the NPD process.
• Presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PPT).
• Power BI (Developer background) would be an advantage.
• PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) experience would be an advantage.
