Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and PowerBI, as well as experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance. They will collaborate closely with data engineers and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain scalable data architectures using Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and PowerBI to meet business and analytics needs.
  2. Design, optimize, and manage data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and high-quality data integration across systems.
  3. Work with data engineers, leadership, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into effective data models and architectures.
  4. Continuously monitor and evaluate new data technologies to enhance the data infrastructure.
  5. Establish best practices for data quality and governance, ensuring data integrity across all stages of data processing.
Requirements:
  1. 6+ years of experience in data architecture, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or strategic leadership role.
  2. Technical proficiency in Snowflake and demonstrated expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  3. Proficiency with dbt, Fivetran, PowerBI, and SQL especially for Snowflake data transformations with dbt.
  4. Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
  5. Proven experience as a lead developer, establishing best practices and mentoring team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Advanced degree or certifications in data management or architecture.
  2. Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft suite tools (Excel).
