For our client, a company that provides SaaS products related to sales, customer support, and other customer communications, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst.

Your new role

What you'll do:

  1. Structure and query data to perform analyses and build visualisations that provide insights into our organisational structure, resource deployment, portfolio of work and investment strategies, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  2. Contribute to the team's overall goal of enabling scalability and driving growth while minimising operational friction.
  3. Promote a data-driven culture by leveraging analytics to inform decisions and measure success within Product Development.
  4. Develop data solutions that facilitate self-service analytics, ensuring key data is accessible to decision-makers.
  5. Integrate structured and unstructured data into cohesive, actionable datasets to enhance analysis capabilities.
  6. Facilitate standardised performance measurement and reporting within Product Development.
  7. Build strong relationships and collaborate with engineering, product and design teams to understand what data is available to tap into.
  8. Proactively conduct analyses that reveal insights into critical business matters, focusing on resource allocation and portfolio management.
  9. Communicate insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders using a blend of quantitative analysis and qualitative storytelling.
What you'll need to succeed

Basic Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in the analytics space.
  2. Proven proficiency in Google Sheets, dbt and SQL.
  3. Experience with data visualisation/BI tools (e.g., Snowflake, Looker, Lightdash, etc.).
  4. Self-motivated, analytical thinker with a curious mindset, eager to uncover insights and demonstrate the value of data-driven decision-making.
  5. Strong ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  6. Detail-oriented with a passion for analytics and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Snowflake and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  2. Background in working with unstructured data and its integration into structured frameworks.
  3. Experience with Jira and familiarity with productivity metrics to assess team performance.
  4. Understanding of census data and organisational structures, with the ability to analyse and model them effectively.
  5. Familiarity or interest in modelling and forecasting data using Python, R, or similar tools is a plus.
