Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the development of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems for the automotive industry
  • Coordinating activities related to the development of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in collaboration with engineering teams, suppliers, and other departments
  • Participating in HVAC component testing and validation, assessing results, and implementing necessary improvements
  • Actively cooperating with customers to ensure high quality and compliance with expectations.
  • Supporting the implementation of new HVAC solutions, including cost analysis and performance impact assessment
  • Ensuring project compliance with technical requirements and quality standards
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues at various stages of product development
  • Planning and monitoring key project milestones, coordinating activities, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Participating in the process of handing over the HVAC system to serial production
  • Managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the HVAC system
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of HVAC system development and its components (Compressor, Gas cooler, Condenser, HV heater, Chiller, Akku/IWT, Pipes) in the automotive sector
  • Familiarity with HVAC validation and testing processes
  • Ability to analyze technical requirements and OEM specifications (including VDA standards)
  • Experience working with tools such as Catia V5, Ntool, KVS/MONA, Connect, Fast – DMU, Dolittle, NEFA, AVON, Easy – VDS, KPM, VMP, NVS, NOLIS – proficiency in at least some of these is required
  • Understanding of regulations and industry standards related to automotive HVAC systems
  • Experience in leading a project team (design, simulation, validation, testing, quality)
  • Advanced command of English
  • Strong proficiency in German
  • Highly developed communication and organizational skills
