Job Description
Manage the Citrix Netscaler effectively to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible to minimize the impact to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewalls, and load balancing.
- In-depth knowledge of Citrix NetScaler features and functionalities including application delivery, content switching, SSL VPN, and access gateway.
- Experience with Citrix NetScaler administration tools and command-line interface.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network and application delivery issues.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience working as Citrix Administrator.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Lead role while acting as a liaison with internal/external customers.
- Desktop Application Virtualization.
- Active Directory, Cloud Storage, Windows Server, VMware.
- Cloud Knowledge (AWS, Azure, and Google).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Certifications
- ITIL Foundation Certified.
- Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) or Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA).
Evaluation Criteria
- Prior experience in Citrix management roles and service operation processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
- Communication skills.
- Client-facing role and collaboration.
