Job Description

Manage the Citrix Netscaler effectively to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible to minimize the impact to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Citrix NetScaler features and functionalities including application delivery, content switching, SSL VPN, and access gateway.
  • Experience with Citrix NetScaler administration tools and command-line interface.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network and application delivery issues.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience working as Citrix Administrator.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Lead role while acting as a liaison with internal/external customers.
  • Desktop Application Virtualization.
  • Active Directory, Cloud Storage, Windows Server, VMware.
  • Cloud Knowledge (AWS, Azure, and Google).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Certifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certified.
  • Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) or Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA).

Evaluation Criteria

  • Prior experience in Citrix management roles and service operation processes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
  • Communication skills.
  • Client-facing role and collaboration.
