Job Title: Actuarial Consultant
A challenging and rewarding role has become available for an experienced Actuarial Consultant to join our team in Europe. As part of our growing actuarial and analytics team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across various locations to deliver a wide range of actuarial and analytical solutions to our global clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Management: You will be responsible for managing multiple projects related to actuarial deliveries, including reserving, pricing, and capital modeling. This will involve working closely with Senior Members of the European teams to ensure timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaboration and Training: You will contribute to the review process, deliver training sessions, and mentor less experienced colleagues to help them grow in their roles.
- Team Leadership: You will have the opportunity to lead a part of the Actuarial and Analytics Team, overseeing up to 10 team members and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You will develop strong relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Culture and Communication: You will demonstrate a commitment to our collaborative culture, sharing your expertise with other colleagues and fostering a positive working environment. Additionally, you will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to address a range of internal and external audiences effectively.
Requirements:
- Actuarial Experience: You must have extensive experience in an actuarial role, with a proven track record of delivering actuarial services independently and as part of a team.
- Leadership and Communication: You should be able to connect with stakeholders at a Senior Level in a matrix environment, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
- Education and Skills: You hold a University degree in statistics, math, actuarial science, or a related field, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under time pressure are also essential.
