Every test cycle and release deployment you coordinate and sign-off will directly shape their future and the path to success.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a hands-on executor and quality gatekeeper, ensuring that every release is thoroughly tested, validated, and deployed with confidence. You will actively design, execute, and automate tests, balancing manual and automated testing to cover functional, regression, and integration testing across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications. Beyond execution, you will advance their test automation practices, focusing on high-impact areas with a pragmatic approach while keeping an overview of testing priorities and identifying potential gaps. Working within an agile, service-oriented team, you will collaborate closely with developers and product owners to maintain high-quality standards and ensure release readiness. Responsibilities
  • Act as the quality gatekeeper, ensuring that the release scope is well understood, properly tested, and meets deployment standards.
  • Coordinate testing activities across development teams, ensuring clarity on what is included in each release and verifying that all critical aspects are covered.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define and validate requirements, ensuring functionality and scope are thoroughly tested before deployment.
  • Perform manual and automated testing for backend services, APIs, and Embedded Finance solutions, ensuring robust integration with external services.
  • Perform and help to automate regression testing to ensure system stability.
  • Validate full-stack applications, including mobile apps and web platforms.
  • Co-own the end-to-end testing process, from test case design to execution, prioritizing effectively and identifying critical gaps.
  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined releases.
  • Challenge developers and analysts with insightful feedback that improves quality and prevents defects from reaching production.
  • Explore and adopt innovative QA methods, including AI-driven testing, to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Automation is an important focus, but hands-on functional testing remains a critical aspect of the role.
What you bring with you
  • Proficiency in English at a full working proficiency level (B2/C1 or equivalent) is required.
  • Experience in testing backend services, APIs, and frontend applications (mobile & web).
  • Strong understanding of API testing tools and automated test frameworks for backend services, mobile & web.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical scenarios and findings.
  • Experience in test automation for backend and frontend including programming skills in Python or similar but with mandatory transition to Python.
  • Experience with design patterns like Page Object Design.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe.
  • Previous experience in fintech or embedded finance is a big plus.
  • Strong team player with the ability to coordinate testing efforts and ensure clear communication of release scope.
  • Proactive mindset, able to maintain an overview of testing activities and identify potential gaps before release.
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines and rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Open to innovative QA methods, including AI-driven approaches.
  • Adaptable and hands-on, comfortable supporting various aspects in a startup environment.
