Job description Join our team for a cutting-edge opportunity to work on innovative projects in the online sports betting and gaming sector. You'll be developing ultra-reliable, low-latency systems comparable to the transactional frameworks of top-tier financial institutions, but with an added element of fun and excitement We are on the lookout for a seasoned and highly driven Senior Android Developer to enhance our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and deployment of high-performance Android applications tailored to our customers' needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define user stories, produce clean, maintainable, and scalable code, and engage in rigorous code reviews to uphold our high software quality standards.

What you'll be doing
  1. Write clear and maintainable code for Android applications, following best practices and software design patterns.
  2. Collaborate with the team to craft user stories and refine task descriptions.
  3. Support diverse clients with various devices, both phones and tablets.
  4. Deliver hybrid (web + native) applications, building efficient and reusable components.
  5. Manage multiple releases while maintaining the CI/CD process.
  6. Develop prototypes to explore new concepts and technologies.
  7. Mentor junior developers and help in their growth and learning.
  8. Work closely with Product Owners to understand customer requirements and refine solution definitions.
What we are looking for
  1. Demonstrable experience as an Android Developer with strong knowledge and experience in Kotlin, Android Studio, and Java.
  2. Experience with Jetpack compose, coroutines and Kotlin flow are highly desired but not essential.
  3. Proficient in Git, XML, JSON, Web Services, software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures. Skilled in advanced concepts such as custom UI controls, performance optimization, memory management, and server-side REST API integration.
  4. Experienced in building complex, multi-module Android applications using patterns like MVI and MVVM, with a proven track record of app development and delivery on the Google Play Store.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is desirable.
