AP Accountant - SSC in Katowice (hybrid work)

Responsibilities:
  • Verify and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Enter invoices into the financial system and maintain proper records.
  • Prepare payments to suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Handle discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and payments, collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable and supplier balances.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax regulations.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding payment status and resolve any issues as necessary.
  • Prepare reports for internal stakeholders on accounts payable activities and outstanding balances.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial role (at least 1-2 years preferred).
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including VAT and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum B1 level of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.
