We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to our joint project team in creating a centralized Master Data repository of Client Profiles and their marketing preferences.

Data sourced from multiple upstream systems, processed using ETL, and distributed to multiple downstream systems. Our project utilizes the following technology stack: The Cloudera platform is used with Hue, Hive, HDFS, and Spark.

The successful candidate will leverage expertise in designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitLab to automate software deployment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitLab to automate software deployment.
  • Implement and support cloud applications using Azure PaaS and Azure DevOps, ensuring security with Azure Vault.
  • Leverage container orchestration through Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) when applicable.
  • Design data processing solutions using technologies like Spark, Databricks, or Cloudera platforms focusing on big data frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to develop a cohesive Solution Architecture that aligns with business requirements.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address challenges systematically and communicate effectively with multiple management levels.
  • Build and maintain strong internal client relationships, ensuring collaborative teamwork and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
  • More than 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar role.
  • Highly experienced in IaC using Terraform.
  • Good experience and knowledge in Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Good experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work with Technical Architect / Solution Architect to produce and enhance an overall Solution Architecture that describes the end-to-end flow.
  • Past experience of customer data and personalization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to tackle new problems in a structured way.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills across different management levels and seniority.
  • Collaborative, with good communication skills - English at a B2+ level.
