Kuehne+Nagel, a leading global logistics company, is seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Developer to join our Global AI Product Group.

Your Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building cutting-edge applications such as our new generative AI platform and dynamic pricing.

Your Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the frontend development in the AI product group, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Design and develop modern user-friendly frontend applications (e.g. using React).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, backend developers, and product managers.
  • Manage stakeholders in the company, collect requirements, define APIs and perform user research to understand business problems and workflows.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure robustness and compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and frameworks.
  • Promote best practices in the team and continuously improve our software stack.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development with strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficient in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, along with related ecosystems like Axios, Redux, and React Router.
  • Experience with data visualization, data management, and database systems.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and familiarity with agile development methodologies using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with backend development and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building innovative, user-centric applications.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
