We are looking for Junior Structural Designer to join our team in Gdańsk.

About company:

Archer provides oil and drilling services and also cooperate with customers in the oil and gas industry. The engineering office in Gdańsk was established in 2022 and is developing dynamically. The Polish branch of Archer is located in the Alchemia office complex in Gdańsk Oliwa. We have a modern and comfortable office with a great view and well-stocked canteen. Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of concepts of steel structures.
  • Detailed design of steel structures.
  • General arrangement and detail drawings preparation.
  • Assistance in structural package preparation (for prefabrication and installation).
  • Small structures and quick connection verification.
  • Preparing Bill of Materials and materials requisition.

Experience:

  • Master's degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experienced user of AutoCAD and one of the applications Autodesk Inventor, Aveva E3D or SolidWorks.
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in designing steel structures (preferably gained in Offshore Oil & Gas or similar industry).
  • Knowledge of Eurocode / NORSOK standards is nice to have.
  • Experience from working in cloud of points is nice to have.
  • Knowledge of VBA or PYTHON is nice to have.

  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Fluent English written and oral skills.
  • Structured, analytical and proactive work attitude.
  • Able to take initiative.
  • Ability to learn and capture knowledge for other team members.
