Help Us Build a New Data Warehouse Solution on Azure

Are you ready to join our international team as a BI Software Engineer? We shall tell you why you should.

As BI Software Engineer, you will join a cross-functional development team that is building a new modern data warehouse solution in Azure Synapse Analytics. You will also be working with an on-premises Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse solution, which is the powerhouse for both client-oriented and internal Excel and Power BI reporting. You will work in an agile environment, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to establish business needs.

You will be:

  1. designing and implementing a cutting-edge modern data warehouse solution in Azure Synapse Analytics,
  2. building and optimizing BI software features while ensuring compliance with functional and non-functional specifications,
  3. modeling and structuring data for advanced business analytics,
  4. cooperating with highly qualified business specialists and developers,
  5. delivering clean, easily maintainable code and performing review of code written by your colleagues,
  6. working on continuous improvement of software development process, including code and architecture standards,
  7. pursuing technical excellence, learning from experts and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues.

We are a GOOD match if you:

  1. Have hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Databricks for data integration, warehousing and analytics.
  2. Have experience in modeling data to support business intelligence, analytics, and data warehouse architectures.
  3. Have expertise in T-SQL for ETL processes, performance tuning and data manipulation.
  4. Have strong coding skills in Python, especially in PySpark, for scalable data engineering.
  5. Possess BI skills, including business requirements gathering, analysis, critical thinking, followed by solution design.

We will be a PERFECT match if you, additionally:

  1. Have experience building scalable data integration solutions using Azure Synapse Pipelines or Azure Data Factory.
  2. Have experience with SAP and/or ServiceNow systems.
  3. Can communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  4. Can manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Are eager to learn new technologies and adapt to changes.
  6. Can collaborate effectively with teams and understand business needs.
