About IT Administration at Sollers:

This team is divided into 2 separated subteams:

  1. Internal IT Administration: We take care of our internal infrastructure – from user laptops and equipment, conference room equipment, and printers, through administration and maintenance of our servers/storage, administration of operation systems, databases, and application servers all the way to our internal network. We define our internal administration strategy – what type of hardware we want to buy/what type of software we want to use. We are also responsible for backups and security of our company data.
  2. DevOps Area: We support the development process for internal and external projects. We are responsible for creating the infrastructure (on-premise and cloud solutions, containers), the configuration of application servers, databases. We also define the software development process with DevOps automation tools. On external projects, we work closely with the customer, based on their requirements.

About the role. You will:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for employees in all our offices (also remotely).
  • Learn the art of preparing equipment for employees using modern technologies.
  • Manage user's accounts and granting access to resources.
  • Implement improvements to Microsoft 365 environment (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, etc.).
  • Create technical documentation for internal use.
  • Take care of preparation of supporting materials for users and conducting training for new employees.
  • Cooperate with other support teams in other locations (also abroad).
  • Support Sollers employees as regards the use of applications and their features.
  • Implement and optimize IT procedures connected to workspace preparation, backup, etc.

About the requirements. You need:

  • To be a graduate in the field of IT or similar – we also welcome students from the last grade of technical studies.
  • Knowledge how to use and maintain office equipment – laptops, printers, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, Microsoft 365.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
  • Experience in the usage and configuration of Windows operating system.
  • To know the administration issues of Windows.
  • To be a team player.
  • Good command of Polish and English (at least B2 level).
  • To be interested in a long-term cooperation and the development of competences in broadly defined IT administration and infrastructure.
  • To be ready to work from the office (at least 4 times per week).

About the wishes. Nice to haves:

  • Basic knowledge regarding TCP/IP networks.
  • Basic experience in Linux administration.
  • Knowledge of the administration issues of Linux and Windows.
  • Experience in the usage and configuration of those systems.
  • Know-how in managing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Basic knowledge of cyber security.
  • At least one year of experience with technical support to end users.
