In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January, it is one of L'Oréal's most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and Middle-East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and also Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs.

What distinguishes BEST is, among other things, the constant striving for process improvement and standardization. We´re looking for the next Controller who will be:

  • Responsible for the management of budget and trend processes together with the preparation, analysis, sharing, and monitoring of key reports and indicators to support various stakeholders.
  • In charge of identifying relevant risks and opportunities, proposing, and implementing necessary corrective actions, while harmonizing processes across all countries with a view to drive efficiency while complying with group standards.

In addition, every member of the Centralized BEST Controlling team will act as a Stream Lead and Country Referent.

As a Stream Lead, you will:

  • Provide expertise on Stream related topics & Projects (e.g. Travel Meetings).
  • Animate the Stream across Zone & Compare performance between countries.
  • Monitor respecting of Group guidelines and oversee expense forecasting.
  • Ensure standardization of approach across countries.
  • Drive innovation / optimization constantly.

As a Country Lead, you will:

  • Be a single point of contact with your Country Budget Owner(s) & Country CFO - Corporate Controller.
  • Coordinate with the Stream Leads to have the latest information on your country.
  • Overview/Control SG&A with Expenses and Variance costs; responsible for assigned countries.

  • An enthusiastic professional with a change mindset and at least years of relevant previous experience in financial controlling.
  • University degree in Finance & Accounting or/and International Business & Economics.
  • Independently manage workload and prioritize appropriately to meet deadlines.
  • A team player with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for a common goal.
  • Good analytical skills as well as an ability to step back and see the 'big picture'.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: communicating, defending ideas, and convincing.
  • Efficiency-oriented: proactively challenging the status quo to design more efficient ways of working.

Fluent in professional English.
