Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Multiplayer Gameplay Programmer to join the development of a new IP.

As a member of the project, you'll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.
You'll help us by…
- Designing and implementing gameplay features that are multiplayer compatible, considering latency issues and bandwidth consumption.
- Evangelizing the team about multiplayer limitations, requirements and recommending potential solutions/workarounds to their problems.
- Anticipating, identifying, and addressing potentials both for improving our game experience, workflows, or scalability across all parts of production.
- Having a clear idea of how our product should function and the ability to share this vision with your peers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborating with fellow team members of the team.
You're awesome because you have…
- 4+ years of professional game engineering experience.
- A deep understanding of latency, bandwidth and the general multiplayer game programming domain.
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming.
- Strong 3D math background.
- Thorough understanding of common data structures and algorithmic solutions.
- The ability to collaborate and thrive as part of a creative team.
- Creativity in problem solving and a positive, respectful team-first attitude.
- Organization methods and the capability to meet deadlines.
- Comfort with self-critique and accepting outside feedback.
- A habit of regularly playing and understanding modern video games.
