What you'll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. Java Software Engineer I is responsible for building tools required to help organizations succeed with Apple. Work closely with the agile team to learn the appropriate designs and practices to build Jamf products. Collaborate with experienced Engineers, Product Management and leadership to understand priorities and how those help us solve problems.

This role is located within Poland. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Independently complete a majority of identified tasks from start to finish with high quality and collaborate with more experienced Engineers when needed.
  • Efficiently use available tools with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Engineering best practices.
  • Ask the right questions, solve problems and build great software.
  • Partner with team to understand and communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication, Support, Product and Cloud).
  • Perform well-defined tasks with increasing independence and seek guidance when needed from more experienced Engineers.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization.
  • Adhere to the highest moral, ethical and legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect, innovation and creativity.
  • Support and promote a positive, inclusive workplace one in which the talents and strengths of our increasingly diverse workforce are welcomed, further developed and manifested in our work.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience developing enterprise-grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in current programming language and tools based on position requirements (Preferred).
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture.
  • Ability to adapt to changing platforms effectively.
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees.
  • Solution-focused ability working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English language.
