Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Game Designer (Meta) to work on a new project in the World of Tanks franchise. Our game is focused on an alternative Cold War era with new tanks and vehicles, including never-before-seen prototypes. The game has hero shooter elements and a vast progression system, giving players the ability to experiment and build vehicles to their own liking.

You will create new content for the game, including vehicles and agents' progression. Design new game meta mechanics and work with existing ones.

Reports to

Lead Game Designer

What will you do?
  • Deliver on the game vision as set by the Lead Game Designer and Product Director.
  • Create new vehicle and agent progressions.
  • Work with other meta features related to game progression.
  • Work in the editor to create prototypes of new mechanics.
  • Work with existing designs and modify them accordingly to the game vision.
  • Create documentation for engineers and other designers.
What are we looking for?
  • Experience creating systems for FPS/TPS shooters.
  • Shipped FPS/TPS titles on PC or Consoles.
  • Experience working on PvP/PVE shooters progressions.
  • Knowledge of shooter meta game systems.
  • Being an active player of PC and Console games.
  • Experience working in a game editor (Proprietary game engines/Unreal/Unity, etc.).
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • English language knowledge (Upper-Intermediate or higher).
  • Desire to learn how things work.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
  • Shipped titles and LiveOps experience.
  • Experience in shipping features utilizing state machine tools.
  • Experience with source control systems (GIT preferred).
  • Experience in vehicle shooters.
  • Ability to learn fast.
  • Prototyping experience.
  • Experience in console development.
Work mode

Hybrid (3-4 days of work from the office).
