We are looking for an experienced Mid or Senior Developer to join our team in building a modern API for an eCommerce platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services using Symfony and PHP, with a strong focus on modular service architecture and seamless API integration. The solution must be scalable and capable of handling high traffic.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop RESTful APIs services
  2. Design services following the principles of bounded contexts
  3. Develop high-level solutions using hexagonal architecture within a modular-monolith structure
  4. Create and maintain API documentation
  5. Quality check (Code Review)
  6. Optimize applications for performance and scalability
  7. Cooperation with the QA, Frontend, UI&UX teams
  8. Taking care of application security, from design to implementation
  9. Write automated tests to ensure the reliability and quality

Your Profile & Skills Required:

  1. You have 4+ years of experience in web development
  2. You have proven expertise in developing RESTful APIs
  3. You can optimize services for performance and scalability
  4. You possess a strong understanding of business needs and technical solutions
  5. You have knowledge of databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  6. You have experience with message queues (e.g., AMQP, SQS)
  7. You're adept at implementing and using cache systems
  8. You know PHP and the Symfony framework thoroughly
  9. You're skilled in PHPUnit
  10. You can create clear, effective documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI
  11. You have practical experience with Docker and containerization
  12. You're comfortable with static analysis tools for code quality
  13. You apply architectural principles like SOLID, KISS, DRY, and other best practices
  14. You have a solid understanding of Unix systems
  15. Good command of English (B2+) and Polish

Nice to have:

  1. Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP)
  2. Domain-Driven Design and CQRS
  3. CI / CD experience
  4. OneTrust, Synerise integrations
