Summary & Role Information:

The S/4 HANA Customer Safeguarding Team is dedicated to providing seamless end-to-end implementation experiences for S/4 HANA applications in all deployment options, particularly for S/4 HANA Cloud. We enable customers to harness SAP's continuous innovation through business configuration infrastructure. The team focuses on development support for customer incidents related to S/4 HANA Best Practice Content, preventing escalations and supporting cloud lifecycle upgrades and updates.

For this team, we seek a highly motivated developer with ABAP knowledge to support us in safeguarding customer deployments by ensuring the content lifecycle based on the content framework, including integration and activation of highly integrated business content for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, analyze complex problems; resolve critical content-related issues for S/4 HANA customers.
  • Manage internal and external escalations, including customer communication (if required).
  • Provide timely and ongoing regular updates and solutions to SAP customers according to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Temporarily safeguard customers in critical/escalated situations.
  • Apply effective problem-solving skills and think independently.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields with above-average results.
  • Experience with ABAP, ABAP OO.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Customer and quality focus.
  • Open and professional communication style.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP-related experience is preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in the software development process and SAP experience during this time is preferred.
  • Development coordination, project, or development management experience is a plus.

International team experience is a plus.
