Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AR Accountant with knowledge of the Italian language to join our client, a global production company based in Krakow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Collection and Management: Ensure timely payment of accounts receivable by leveraging all available processes in accordance with Corporation accounting rules and regulations.
  • Payment Allocation and Verification: Allocate payments, clear customers' accounts, and verify cash allocation on a regular basis.
  • Unallocated Cash and Discrepancies: Monitor unallocated cash and resolve account discrepancies with customers.
  • Rebate and Commission Settlements: Prepare calculations and perform rebate & agent commission settlements.
  • Customer Communication: Contact customers, sales, and legal departments to collect outstanding debts and obtain remittance advices.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide accurate and relevant information to management on overdue, unidentified, and partial payments.
  • Credit Risk Support: Cooperate with the Credit Risk Team and support them during business meetings throughout Europe.
  • Process Improvement: Work on possible improvements in reducing overdue accounts and Days Sales Outstanding.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in O2C/AR, dealing with complex cash collection issues.
  • SAP System Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of the SAP system.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Italian (B2/C1) and good knowledge of English (B1/B2).
  • Communication and Teamwork: Team player with very good communication skills.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Customer service-oriented and results-driven.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management abilities.
