As the Cross BU Procurement Manager, you will lead external supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms and managing long-term contracts. Your focus includes identifying new vendors, tracking service levels, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Taking charge of strategic category management, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value in line with Haleon and Procurement objectives.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the critical Sourcing and Category management activities for one or multiple BUs across indirect categories such as Marketing, Warehousing and Distribution, or Professional Services. This role will collaborate with the procurement category and local market teams (LOC) to deliver sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier lifecycle management services to the global procurement organization.

This service is a cornerstone of the future procurement operating model and will enable the function to industrialize its core operation; driving best practice, providing practical knowledge for development of best in class category strategies, consistency of execution, and continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute sourcing strategies for spend categories in scope of responsibility aligned with the requirements of stakeholders and business partners in cooperation with Global Categories team.
  2. Deliver benefits identified in strategies, local, regional and global, through effective and collaborative strategy execution, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation.
  3. Ensure Haleon's Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are utilized in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility.
  4. Support category leads in the creation and delivery of effective savings targets agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the agreed Savings Methodology.
  5. Deliver savings and other set KPIs critical to global procurement plans as aligned with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Savings Methodology and global budgets.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management in Haleon:

  1. Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans.
  2. Demonstrated success in collaboration with a wide range of senior leaders across business areas and suppliers.
  3. Resolve escalations, including from senior business stakeholders, timely and tactfully.
  4. Understand and efficiently navigate organizational complexity to deliver set goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Bachelor's Degree.
  3. Strong demonstrated procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, Indirect category management, cost model synthesis and supplier relationship management for delivering multi-country, high spend complex engagements.
  4. Demonstrated experience in navigating through organizational complexity, collaborating simultaneously with multiple teams, influencing without authority, handling escalations and associated business impact.
  5. Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology.
  6. Proven experience leveraging procurement analytics/data outputs to generate reports.
  7. More than 2 years of experience in project management and business operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced Degree in Business Management, Mathematics, or Business Operations.
  2. Ability to multi-task across various requests daily and work independently.
  3. Ability to engage senior leadership with limited direction.
  4. Operating at pace and agile decision-making – using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigour and risk.
