Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in geology and/or engineering geology.
  • Experience gained with a multinational engineering company will be an asset.
  • Knowledge of geophysical surveys is a plus.
  • Experience in ArcGIS and lineament analysis is a plus.
  • Leadership qualities including teamwork, communication, and report writing.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform construction monitoring of earth retaining structures, deep foundations (drilled shafts, piles), and shallow foundations.
  • Design of shallow and deep foundations and earth-retaining structures.
  • Perform liquefaction and consolidation settlement analyses.
  • Develop geotechnical reports.
  • Design ground improvement including deep soil mixing, rigid inclusions, and chemical methods.
  • Develop contract documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Work in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams.
