About the Role:
Are you ready to start a new journey with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world's infrastructure? Bentley Systems is looking for a talented Senior C++ Engineer to join a distributed team of developers dedicated to writing high-quality, modern C++ code to transform and modernize ProjectWise, a crucial product in the industry.
Your Responsibilities:
- Full Lifecycle Development: Contribute to the entire software development life cycle, from planning, designing, and architecting to implementation and maintenance.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop highly secure and scalable cloud-native web services using C++.
- Innovation: Research new, related technologies and contribute to evolving future generations of our products.
About ProjectWise:
ProjectWise is industry-leading software facilitating infrastructure project delivery for projects such as nuclear power plants, oil refineries, factories, airports, roads, railways, tunnels, and bridges. Required Qualifications:
- Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience as a C++ developer with a strong understanding of modern software development practices.
- Cloud-Native Technologies: Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL Server & Azure SQL databases and data structures.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Message Brokers: Experience with message brokers (, Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus) and eventual consistency architectures.
