Inviting applications for the role of Technical Support Engineer – Domain Trainee – Spanish – Remote Poland

The Technical Support Engineer is a member of the Technical Support Organization, a dynamic and innovative department that endeavours to provide high-level technical advice, consultation, and troubleshooting for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver prompt and thorough responses to inquiries from internal and external customers, primarily received via telephone and written communication.
  2. Provide remote diagnostics for medical devices.
  3. Generate and maintain proper complaint documentation.
  4. Coordinate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Field personnel to assure timely follow-up and resolution of all technical inquiries and product issues.
  5. Support the Technical Support telephone line by providing emergency technical assistance.
  6. Contribute to team goals and objectives through active participation.
  7. Promote Professional Services.
  8. Actively support areas of empowerment and continuously improve team processes to create a more efficient work environment.
  9. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  10. Upgrade systems to enable compatible software on all computers.
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications
  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Computers/ Biomedical Engineering is required.
  2. Relevant experience in troubleshooting and repair of medical devices/electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
  3. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, organization/prioritization skills, and a passion for providing superior service.
  4. Proficient in software installations and upgrades.
  5. Knowledge of basic security concepts and best practices.
  6. Experience in troubleshooting and repair of IT and complex electronic systems preferred.
  7. Experience servicing production/sales/printers/PC devices and equipment required.
  8. Experience servicing medical devices systems preferred.
  9. Knowledge of Salesforce/ServiceMax/PC/software/LIS/networking/database management is highly desired.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  1. Experience with PC assembly, upgrades, and repairs is highly desirable.
  2. Independent with proven ability to apply scientific principles when troubleshooting customer workflow and/or instrument complaints.
  3. Must have effective communication and customer service skills including technical writing and the ability to manage complex technical conversations via telephone.
  4. Must have the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to changing business environment(s).
  5. Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office package).
  6. English & Spanish language proficiency is required.
