Your day at NTT DATA

This is a technical leadership role, responsible for participating with senior management to formulate, manage and implement the Technical Services strategy within their assigned geography / country / business area. This is a people management role responsible for providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Successfully manages the unit, profit and loss and lead a team of senior individuals.
  2. Manage a team of 25+ individuals with 4-5 direct line reports.
  3. Takes full ownership for managing efficiency levels, streamlining and continuously improving procedures to deliver customer excellence.
  4. Collaborates with executives to provide vision in the development of the Technical Services strategy and manage implementation to achieve revenue and expense targets.
  5. Leads by example, setting the standard for client satisfaction and develop policies, procedures and standards that will drive optimization and client satisfaction.
  6. Establishes and manages operational initiatives and programs to enable the achievement of the technical services strategy.
  7. Sets and manages annual growth targets and manages the internal organizational impacts on the team in terms of resourcing, financing and up skilling.
  8. Leverages their relationship skills and knowledge of the client environment to address complex client and business needs, providing relevant solutions.
  9. Defines and executes business plans, monitoring performance and managing expectations to achieve best business results.
  10. Sets, tracks and manages the operational budget.
  11. Acts as a change agent, driving transformation that leads to maximum client satisfaction and business profitability.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  1. Significantly vast business and commercial orientation and with a supporting interest in technology.
  2. Significantly vast knowledge of technical services, IT service management, and related technologies.
  3. Ability to stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  4. Significantly vast understanding of various information technology domains, including infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, application management, networks, data center and collaboration.
  5. Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  6. Significantly vast leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  7. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at senior / executive level.
  9. English language at proficient level.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or Information Technology or related field.
  2. Master's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Business Administration preferred.
  3. Project management certification desired.

Required Experience:

  1. Significantly vast relevant experience in senior management / leadership role within a related environment.
  2. Significantly vast experience in IT Infrastructure services operations experience with a large IT enterprise environment.
  3. Significantly vast people management experience in leading and managing technical operations teams across the Data Center, Networking, Security, Workplace and Communications domains.
  4. Significantly vast experience in managing global enterprise client outsourcing projects.
  5. Significantly vast vendor management experience.
