How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As an Electrical Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of the electrical system for the petrochemical and refinery industry. The position will report to the Head of Electrical.

  1. Planning, managing, monitoring, reviewing, and approving the discipline's work regarding appropriate quality, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
  2. Analyzing and evaluating technical contract annexes; preparing the project-specific Electrical Discipline Job Manual including all relevant specifications and considering contractual requirements.
  3. Preparation of project documentation including project specifications, one-line diagrams, protection and control schematic diagrams, terminal connection diagrams, and substation layouts.
  4. Execution of electrical calculations including short circuit calculations, power balance, cable calculations, lighting intensity calculations, grounding, and lightning protection calculations.
  5. Preparation of layout drawings (consumer location, cable tray routing, lighting, grounding).
  6. Defining and developing hazardous area classification.
  7. Preparation of Installation typicals and Material Take-off.
  8. Coordination of Package Units, interfaces to other disciplines, clients, and vendors.
  9. Preparation of inquiry packages for electrical equipment following contractual and project specification requirements.
  10. Participation in Factory Acceptance Tests for electrical equipment.
  11. Providing input for subcontract including BoQ; supervision of the erection works.
  12. Verification of project and vendor documentation with respect to its completeness and accordance with standards, branch regulations, and contract requirements.
  13. Development into Senior Electrical Lead Engineer, Design Authority/TCL Expert.
  14. Potential mid-term development for other positions such as Engineering Manager or Project Manager.

Are you a MATCH?

  1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. 5+ years of experience in a plant engineering company as an Electrical Engineer.
  3. Communication and coordination with other disciplines regarding his scope of work and considering the "work flow."
  4. Reporting to and coordination with the Engineering Manager on matters regarding manpower requirements, schedule, budget, productivity, priorities, technical solutions, and other factors affecting the work.
  5. Ability to work independently on the preparation of proposals and execution of projects for Electrical for domestic and international projects.
  6. Coordination of vendors, suppliers, manufacturers; coordination of interfaces with client's technical discipline specialists.
  7. Fluent in Polish and English; knowledge of German or other languages would be appreciated.
  8. Computer skills, knowledge of applications such as MS Office, ACAD, Dialux.
  9. ETAP software or other power system analysis software knowledge would be beneficial.
  10. Eager to work in a multicultural team, willing to travel short and long term (3-6 months) to other engineering centers and construction sites worldwide.
  11. High interpersonal skills.
