Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Within his/her functional area, the PLM Solution Specialist role of the Product Structure/Bill of Material Product team is responsible to support the R&D units with the creation and release of production data. He/She contributes to and executes PLM projects with METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries and drives and manages the following activities:

  • Support of end-to-end solution from the creation of a Product Structure to the management and release of Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs,
  • Provide tier 2 support (troubleshooting and resolving issues) in close collaboration with the power users (tier 1) in the units,
  • Identify areas for improvement with regards to functionalities, performance, automation, user friendliness and robustness of the solutions,
  • Contribute to the evolution of the global process template, design guidelines and design quality checks, collaborating with Product Owner, Solution Architect and Business Analyst,
  • Maintain the necessary documentation to make the power users self-sufficient (i.e. user manual, process documentation),
  • Maintain and execute test scripts,
  • Support enhancement and upgrade projects during all phases until delivery to production.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in similar position,
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
  • Ability to communicate across different teams (i.e., R&D, Operations),
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, high problem solving ability,
  • Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills,
  • Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends,
  • Good knowledge of PLM systems, CAD tools or ERP system is a plus.
