The function of the AXS Remote Engineer (m/f/d) is to support customers remotely through online tools, call, video conference and remote control software. This function is highly technical oriented and problem-solving oriented. Due to the good technical skill levels, this function will support less trained field service technicians remotely, too.

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for technical customer support remotely
  2. Support regional and global customer hotline and provide 1st level support
  3. Provide regional and global 2nd level support, especially for installations, replacement of spare parts, diagnostics or planned maintenance through remote tools
  4. Support sales team for technical questions and after market sales (e.g., upgrades business)
  5. Regular customer contacts to ensure maximum satisfaction
  6. Back-up for field service and provide onsite customer support if required
  7. Business travel from time to time

Qualifications

  1. A degree in material science, physics or engineering
  2. 1-3 years experience of high-voltage equipment
  3. 1-3 years experience in customer service
  4. Excellent client service skills; customer and solution-oriented
  5. Excellent IT skills and motivation to support by video and online tools
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Material Science or Physics Education
  8. Language: English (min. C1 Level) and one additional language will be beneficial (German, French, Italian, or Spanish)
