Job Description:

Summary:

The role of a BIM Coordinator involves managing existing and creating REVIT/AUTOCAD libraries of doors, components, and details for use in current and future projects.

This includes the management of Revit families in architectural and coordination models provided by the client, as well as the coordination of the model with the model of the client and other subcontractors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer notifications on the BIM360 portal and publishing coordination models in cloud services specified by the Client.

They will also create as-built door models based on point clouds or data from direct measurements and co-create, develop, and implement BIM standards and procedures within the organization along with Team training.

Additional responsibilities include the initial check of the correctness of designed doors, timely implementation of drawing sheets, and coordination of the entire 3D model with other industries (walls, installations, floors).

The ideal candidate will identify and report potential installation or coordination issues and close cooperation with the Project Manager to deliver models within the time specified in the project schedule.

Ongoing cooperation with Customer Representatives, company management, and functional managers is required to ensure process continuity and timely implementation of tasks.

Requirements:
  • Higher education in engineering, preferably in architecture or construction.
  • Proven experience in creating Revit families and managing libraries (minimum 2 years).
  • Knowledge of REVIT, Autocad, Navisworks 3D, MS Excel.
  • Ability to define and explain processes, as well as their optimization.
  • Good knowledge of creating and managing Revit parametric families (RFA).
  • Knowledge of the assumptions of the EN-19650-1, EN-19650-2 standards is welcome.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Dynamo is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the BIM360 platform is desirable.
  • Good spatial imagination and 3D modeling skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge about applicable EU regulations and directives regarding the construction industry and the use of BIM.
  • Good knowledge of English (including technical) at least at C1 level and the ability to work in an international environment (in international project groups).
  • Ability to work in a project group and work under time pressure.
  • Valid category B driving license.
  • Readiness for business trips.
