As a Lead Sourcing Specialist - Contract Management, you will manage Indirect Sourcing contract details including but not limited to tracking of contractual obligations between Baker Hughes & suppliers, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of contracts, and managing the database of contracts for the Digital Technology Sourcing organization.

As a Lead Sourcing Specialist - Contract Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and driving third-party suppliers contract management strategies for the Digital Technology sourcing organization in alignment with Baker Hughes' Digital vision around centralized products such as Commercial, Data Analytics, ERP, Services, & Manufacturing.
  • Monitoring suppliers' and Baker Hughes' compliance and performance against established contracts and policies.
  • Leading the process design for the collection and analysis of global contract data for the Digital Technology sourcing organization. Maintain and construct the ongoing analyses of a deep fact base for third-party supplier contracts.
  • Acting as the liaison between suppliers and Baker Hughes on contract compliance and auditing matters.
  • Participating in negotiations with suppliers during the sourcing review.
  • Collaborating with Sourcing leadership at the highest levels and wider internal stakeholders such as finance, compliance, and legal subject matter experts in the negotiation and execution of high-value contracts.
  • Overseeing more complex Sourcing programs & initiatives, defined as primary projects of substantial monetary value, with significant stakeholder interface, and developing formal supplier agreements and contracts.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, college, or high school diploma.
  • Have at least 6 years of direct work experience with at least 3 years in Sourcing/Procurement roles.
  • Have 2 years of experience in directly negotiating Sourcing contracts.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Contract Database Management for 3rd party suppliers is desirable.
