The FP&A Forecasting Manager role offers the unique opportunity to design, develop and implement advanced forecasting models that will drive critical business decisions across the organisation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, blending strategic thinking with technical expertise to deliver predictive insights that shape the company's growth trajectory. This is a high-visibility role, with critical impact on the global business and company's strategy. In this position, you'll analyse forecast variances, understand and mitigate variance drivers, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end forecasting process, from ideation to execution, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Design and deliver innovative, flexible, scalable forecasting models using statistical, machine learning, algorithmic, data mining and visualization techniques.
- Partner with teams across finance, operations, sales, commercial excellence, and strategy to align forecasts with business goals and assumptions.
- Leverage diverse datasets, integrating internal and external factors to enhance forecast accuracy and relevance.
- Continuously refine models, methodologies, and tools to adapt to changing business needs and market dynamics and increase forecast accuracy over time.
- Translate forecasting outputs into actionable insights and present them to business stakeholders for driving decisions.
Qualifications and competences
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, data science or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing advanced forecasting models.
- Proficiency in forecasting software, tools and techniques, including Excel, Python, R, SQL, Power BI etc. Machine learning knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to connect forecasting insights to broader business strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
- Strong ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams within an international, global environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to details and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
- Full professional proficiency in written and oral English.
