ABOUT THE ROLE

Join Banqsoft and embark on a dynamic journey as a Senior Automation Test Engineer in Banking & Credit Services In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering solutions in close collaboration with some of the most well-known banks and financial institutions across the Nordics. In our Banking & Credit Services area, we're transforming how clients manage and grow their financial services. From digital banking to seamless credit management, you'll play a key role in creating solutions that enhance customer experiences, improve efficiency, drive innovation, and empower banks and financial organizations across Europe to reach new heights.

In this role, you will be involved in creating, maintaining, and orchestrating automation tests for our applications, while also supporting manual testing activities. You will work closely with the QA team to develop and execute end-to end test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures utilizing industry-accepted best practices. Collaboration with the development team and other departments in an international environment will be essential. In addition, the ideal candidate for the Senior Test Automation Engineer role would also have the proper mindset and skills to act as a test leader, orchestrating and organizing testers' work to achieve project goals.

What does the role look like?

  • Develop and execute end-to-end test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures with the QA team,
  • Establish and evolve formal QA Automation processes, ensuring the utilization of industry accepted best practices,
  • Oversee all aspects of QA, including the development of new tools and processes to consistently meet quality goals,
  • Collaborate closely with the development team and other departments in an international environment.

Are we a great match?

To master the role of Senior Automation Test Engineer role we believe that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing of desktop applications in C#,
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining test automation framework, creating test strategies for different testing layers,
  • Hybrid testing mindset, comfortable supporting the team in manual testing and building coverage of automated tests,
  • Experience with API testing,
  • Experience with SQL,
  • PowerShell scripting,
  • Proactive and innovative approach, driving automation initiatives within the team,
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,
  • Strong alignment with our Employee DNA

It's great if you have (but not a must):

  • ISTQB certification,
  • Experience with tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, GIT and Azure DevOps,
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies,
  • Knowledge / experience with yaml, Azure DevOps pipelines,
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes,
  • Business/financial knowledge and interest in the FinTech sector.
