Mission:

  1. Lead digitalization projects in area of Quality in coordination with Digital Manufacturing & IS&S teams
  2. Lead the improvement of quality processes & tools in the production sites in coordination with the Regional Quality teams
  3. Application of the Quality Core tools in the plants in coordination with the regions and the continuous improvement activities at BG level

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead digitalization projects in the area of Quality
  2. Support the regional quality teams in deploying of new quality tools and organize the associated training courses
  3. Participate to the Strategy for improvement in the area of Digitalization for Quality, aligned with the overall C-Power Quality Strategy and Quality Strategic initiatives
  4. In coordination with the Plant Quality Managers and with the Warranty Managers, survey and identify the needs for improvement of the operational Quality processes & tools to support the perfect execution of quality (traceability requirements, process control, reaction/escalation rules…), in compliance with the customer expectations and with the industrial standards
  5. Lead and animate the process of Lessons Learned, monitoring the issuance of claims (0-km, warranty) and challenge the sites for issuing the Lessons Learned. In coordination with the experts, ensure the capitalization and the transversalization of the Lessons Learned.
  6. Support & input to Operational Quality process (9500)
  7. In coordination with the Regional Quality Directors and Quality Engineering BPO, ensure the effective use of the quality core tools (e.g. FMEA, MSA, SPC, Weibull) in the manufacturing plants
  8. Managing the continuous improvement mindset and process across the Business Group: promote the Problem Solving methodology
  9. In coordination with the Regional Quality Director, animate the plant quality network in order to share toolboxes, best practices and propose improved or new standards
  10. Provide input to continuously refresh the Quality Mindset training materials and associated tools (e.g. Quiz, VR, etc.). Coordinate with the regions to set a roadmap in the aim of promoting Quality Mindset within the manufacturing sites to all staffs

Profile:

Personal Background:

  1. Bachelor of Science in an Engineering or Technical field, or significant relevant experience (minimum 10 years)
  2. Minimum 2 years automotive experience required
  3. Minimum 3 years operational Quality or Industrial experience
  4. Acumen in manufacturing environment

Job Technical skills:

  1. Proficient with computers and data management
  2. Very good understanding of Quality and manufacturing Standards
  3. Proficient in Quality tools and Customer Specific Requirements
  4. Ability to detect improvement areas, align and drive improvements till resolution, lead advanced problem solving activities
