The ideal candidate will lead a team of DevOps engineers responsible for building and supporting Motorola's subscription business applications using Oracle cloud and on-premise platforms. A key requirement is to foster a passion for customer experience, inspiring the team to develop solutions that delight customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain automated tools and processes to ensure consistency and reliability in technical systems.
  2. Define business-focused KPIs to continuously monitor and improve development and operational performance.
  3. Collaborate with software development and support teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of software changes.
  4. Investigate and propose improvements to make software setup and updates more efficient and dependable.
  5. Promote a proactive support mindset, identifying and resolving issues before they affect customers.
  6. Work with L3 and L2 vendor partners to leverage AI in development and support processes.
  7. Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless software releases, minimizing downtime or disruptions.
  8. Establish strong KPIs to govern and optimize operations.
  9. Stay up-to-date with trends to maintain an advanced and efficient tech environment.

Essential Qualifications:

Basic Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Experience: 7+ years of professional work experience in IT, preferably in a technical role.
  3. At least 2+ years of experience managing a DevOps team.
  4. Ability to work late shifts (14:30-22:30) to cover business needs.

  2. Strategic thinking and creative solution-proposing skills.
  3. Passion for customer satisfaction and learning about the business.

  5. Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with business contacts, IT developers, and external partners.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
