Senior Accounting Analyst - Global Accounting & Close team

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to support our Global Accounting & Close organization. This role is hybrid/mobile tied to our Cranberry Township, PA HQ location, and we will consider US and non-US Remote candidates.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support closing administration functions by preparing journal entries, cost distributions, and assuring timely completion of journal entry closing checklists.
  • Collaborate with Lead Accountant and Accounting Manager on closing checklist preparation in Blackline and accounting calendar.
  • Support legacy Non-SAP entity's trial balance feeds from non-US locations into SAP, including account mapping. Provide advice on accounting and non-accounting questions/concerns from locations. Prepare ad-hoc reports for these Non-SAP entities.
  • Prepare and/or review Blackline account reconciliations and journal entries for accounts under Global Accounting & Close organization.
  • Implement internal controls outlined by Internal Audit and SOX organization.
  • Support external audit activities, ensuring integrity and timeliness of deliverables to the auditor.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in existing business practices and create standard operating procedures documentation.
  • Assist in other financial and accounting activities as determined by the Accounting Manager and/or VP of Global Accounting.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting role.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, Excel macros, and Pivot Tables highly desirable.
