About the role

Aura, a revolutionary large-scale mobile platform, is looking for an outstanding and passionate Middle Full Stack Engineer to join a rapidly growing team.

We work in a fast-paced environment, building a content discovery platform used by millions of users. Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a full-stack & mobile agile team, working at high velocity, and delivering great quality on a daily basis
  • Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions
  • Write clean, highly scalable, and top-quality code that sets industry standards
  • Work closely with the Product, Architects, DevOps, and BI
  • Develop and maintain high-performance, resilient UI using React.js
  • Develop & implement tests to ensure the quality, performance & scalability of our products
  • Continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the industry
  • Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and best practices within the development team

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience building the server-side of enterprise-level systems (high-performance, highly available, and scalable systems) in Node.js
  • Experience with web development in React
  • Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Aerospike, Mongo, DynamoDB, Redis
  • Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable & distributed web applications
  • Knowledge & experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Google
  • Working knowledge of databases (MySQL, MemSQL, Redis)
  • Practical experience in the design and architecture of large-scale systems (front-end/back-end)
  • Good understanding of modern Stream Processing and Event Sourcing paradigms

Advantages:

  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code development such as Pulumi or Terraform
  • Deep knowledge of Node.js
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Docker, distributed event stores such as Kafka, tools for automation such as Playwright and monitoring tools such as Grafana
