Education Recommendations:Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics and similar

You will join the Applications Development team, which is a part of the Network & Performance Engineering department. We are developing advanced product intelligence and knowledge engineering systems, which operate on vast amounts of data and are used by thousands of Nokia employees worldwide. As a member of an Agile team, you will be involved in the software development of our web applications supporting the Nokia product's evolution.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Our team provides in-depth details of worldwide telecommunications networks. As a Data Engineering Summer Trainee, you will have a role in crafting the knowledge from raw data and creating insights about the future of the telecom industry.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work in a data science team focused on analysis of telecom networks data and knowledge
  • Cooperate with data scientists and data engineers to create data processing pipelines
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Active student status
  • Good English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to work full-time during the summertime
  • Experience in Python programming
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • High passion for data, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge of large language models or natural language processing
