Your responsibilities would include:

  1. Monitoring customer accounts and detecting overdue payments. Collecting and analyzing data for a selected payment/debt history. Reaching out to customers to discuss their debts.
  2. Owning the Customer Ledger and being responsible for keeping it clear and meeting collection targets.
  3. Acting as a Business Partner to OpCos (e.g. Cash/Pre-Legal Collectors, Sales, Customer Service) to provide timely and accurate data and ensure effective collections.
  4. Working collaboratively with other HGSS teams (Front and Back Office teams) to ensure effective delivery of collection processes and adherence to standards.
  5. Managing customer relationship accounts and ensuring a high level of service is provided at all times.
  6. Handling incoming and outgoing calls with customers, identifying held orders and taking appropriate actions to resolve them, and managing the credit limit exceeded process in accordance with credit policy.
  7. Supporting and contributing to the delivery and implementation of continuous improvement projects in collaboration with OpCo, HGSS, and in line with HEINEKEN's standards.
  8. Regularly updating the Team Leader about developments and progress of collections opportunities and issues.
  9. Driving personal development in Finance-specific skills and business knowledge by implementing a development plan.
  10. Ensuring process controls, policies, and compliance are adhered to and suggesting improvements as appropriate.
  11. Maintaining complete and up-to-date process documentation.

You are a good candidate if you:

  1. Have French level C1.
  2. Have English level B2.
  3. Have at least 1 year of experience in the OTC Collection area.
  4. Have an accounting background & expertise.
  5. Demonstrate strong customer focus.
  6. Have collection experience.
  7. Have experience with HORECA customers.
  8. Can deal with resistance.
  9. Understand the end-to-end Order to Cash process and have business knowledge.
  10. Possess written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Have experience in a multi-national environment (including Shared Services Centers).
  12. Have negotiation skills.
