Product Owner

Location: Warsaw, Barcelona

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading cross functional teams in the design, build, and operation of a cloud-based data operations pipelines and data products. You will create and drive a strategy for a robust, fault tolerant, near real-time, and scalable data operations capability to supply our Finance community with operational, analytics and reporting ready data. You will build, lead and inspire a high performance cross functional team to deliver high impact outcomes.

What you will do:

  1. Lead a cross functional team of 10 to 12 members to build robust and reliable data pipelines as part of the Finance Transformation journey
  2. Strong ownership in understanding business needs and driving business valued outcomes
  3. Collaborate with other business, data, governance and IT stakeholders to drive solutions
  4. Develop user stories based on the product backlog, prioritize the user stories based on the customer requirements / expectations
  5. Actively contribute to team ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review and retrospectives
  6. Oversee all stages of product development (design, development, deployment, operations)
  7. Monitor and report the product progress to management team on a regular basis
  8. Oversee the development and operation of data pipelines in a Data Lake architecture
  9. Ensure that Schneider Electric's Data Golden Rules are adhered to

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  1. 3+ years of experience in the Business Finance domain
  2. 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner
  3. Experience in designing data pipelines for optimal delivery of analytics ready data
  4. Experience in working with big data platforms
  5. Experience with cloud technologies AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure
  6. Proven experience in managing and working with large teams based in multiple geographies
  7. Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile and DevOps
  8. Concise and articulate written and verbal communication
  9. Excellent listening comprehension and empathy
  10. Strong problem-solving leader, who can coach and facilitate others to solve problems
  11. Fluent in English

  1. Product ownership certification
