AI/ML Research Engineer
RLink Solutions is hiring for a client for a 3-month short-term contract opportunity.
Location: USA, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Turkey, Vietnam
Start: Immediate
Rate: US - $50/hr-$70 | Non-US - $20-$30/hr
Schedule: 40 hours/week, minimum 8 hours/day, with 4 hours of PST overlap
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in AI, ML, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of professional experience with significant ML/research engineering experience
- Strong experience with machine learning, model training, evaluation, or AI systems
- Research experience in one or more areas: reinforcement learning, post-training, synthetic/agentic data, AI evaluation, benchmarks, model understanding, or AI agents
- Strong Python/programming skills and experience with modern ML frameworks
- Experience designing experiments and working with research-grade datasets and evaluation systems
- Strong research, analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills
- LinkedIn profile is mandatory and must be included on the resume
What You'll Do
- Conduct research and experiments on advanced AI and machine learning systems
- Develop and evaluate models, datasets, benchmarks, and AI evaluation frameworks
- Work on areas such as reinforcement learning, post-training, synthetic/agentic data, AI agents, and model evaluation
- Build research prototypes and tooling using Python and modern ML frameworks
- Analyze experimental results and turn findings into practical improvements
- Collaborate with research, engineering, product, and operations teams
- Contribute to technical documentation, research reports, publications, or open-source projects where applicable
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers or researchers
