Tasks:

  • You will be responsible for modeling internal customer's requirement for material master data in SAP S4 systems.
  • You work closely with our internal customers to gather and discuss material master related business requirements.
  • You consolidate the requirements, derive the technical concept, design solution from them and align it with architects.
  • You will be responsible for the implementation / configuration in the systems either yourself or in collaboration with other teams.

Profile:

Education/ Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years hands-on material master customizing and enhancement experience.
  • At least 5 years experience in agile SAP implementation or rollout projects in a technical role (consultant, developer or solution architect).

Technical Knowledge:

  • In-depth technical knowledge about the SAP material master (PDM):
  • Customizing (all views), which includes the extension of subscreens with additional (customer-specific) fields.
  • Classification.
  • Authorization concept.
  • Enhancement implementations.
  • Process knowledge in at least one SAP end-to-end process or module with a strong focus on material master.
  • Knowledge about material master related SAP PDM objects like BoM, Change Master, Document Info Record.
  • Experience with SAP R3 and S4 configuration (SPRO).
  • Knowledge in technical aspect of SAP:
  • Basic skills in ABAP/4, ABAP OO programming.
  • Debugging skills.
  • Experience in analyzing SAP technical objects settings (ABAP workbench, ABAP Dictionary).
  • Basic knowledge of SAP interface for Master Data distribution (EDI/ALE, IDOCs).
  • BRF+ basic knowledge.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience and joy in working in virtual, intercultural teams.
  • High degree of personal responsibility.
