Job Overview

Venlynx Sp. z o.o. is seeking a full-time, remote MLRO Officer based in Warsaw. The MLRO Officer will be responsible for managing the company's anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) initiatives, performing risk assessments, applying compliance policies in line with the upcoming MiCA regulations, and ensuring overall regulatory adherence. Some remote work flexibility is available for this position.

What we expect from You

  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations in Republic of Poland;
  • Certifications in AML, such as CAMS, ACAMS, or similar, is a must;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Polish languages;
  • Experience in conducting AML risk assessments and investigations;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information;
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Permission to work in Poland;

Your Responsibilities

  • Researches, assesses, implements, and manages the areas of Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulations (MiCA);
  • Monitoring of AML / KYC standards as directed;
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management and the Board of Directors on compliance issues, risks, and mitigation strategies;
  • Plan and maintain AML/CTF training programs for the company's employees;
  • Regularly review the company's internal policies, procedures, and relationships to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering laws;
  • Reporting of CTR's/SAR's (szafir or similar e-signature needed);
  • Quarterly Report preparation and submitting (szafir or similar e-signature needed);
  • Communication with regulatory authority in case of need.
