We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global FP&A Lead to provide financial leadership to our Global Account. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all sub-regions have appropriate and adequate financial management, control, and reporting to meet all Client requirements. This role requires exceptional Client-facing skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive high-quality financial and commercial performance.

Requirements:

  1. 6-8 years of relevant experience
  2. Fluent English in speaking and writing
  3. Experience working in a matrix environment
  4. Familiarity with ERP Systems such as PeopleSoft, iScala
  5. Previous experience of a service industry role using operating systems such as Dynamics AX
  6. Dealt with GMP, Cost plus, and Fixed price commercial models
  7. Involved in acquisitions, including the integration of new businesses
  8. Hands-on experience of managing geographically diverse teams
  9. Committed to Client service delivery
  10. Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on, pragmatic delivery
  11. Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop high-quality and effective Client relationships across all sub-regions of the Account
  2. Drive high-quality financial/commercial performance through understanding contractual commitments
  3. Identify and help drive implementation of savings opportunities to ensure Client and GWS financial savings targets are maximized
  4. Support Global FD by ensuring regional Finance teams take responsibility for Balance Sheet governance and reconciliations
  5. Build and develop high-level relationships with all stakeholders, including regional finance teams
  6. Communicate regularly with Account finance to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, best practice, and key business messages
  7. Deliver best-in-class Client management information, including annual budgets, monthly management accounts, and forecasts
  8. Manage the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems
  9. Tightly manage contract governance and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the terms and conditions of the contract
  10. Manage Trade Working Capital to maximize cash and control integrity
  11. Participate in monthly business reviews and manage agreed actions
  12. Line Manage a finance team, ensuring high-quality finance team and succession planning in place.
