We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Warsaw. This role is ideal for a professional with 6+ years of experience in Scala (preferred) or Java, strong expertise in AWS, SQL, and big data technologies, and a proven track record of building large-scale data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines in the AWS ecosystem.
  • Work with Apache Spark, Hadoop, MySQL, Cassandra, and Kafka to process and analyze large datasets.
  • Ensure timely delivery of the project while complying with local and international regulations.
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure, optimizing for scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and handover of the project.

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Scala (preferred) or Java as the primary programming language.
  • Strong experience with AWS and cloud-based big data solutions.
  • Expertise in SQL and database technologies (MySQL, Cassandra).
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
  • Experience in building large-scale data processing pipelines on AWS.
